Get Tested for COVID‑19 in Brampton and Niagara Falls

Who should get yourself Tested for Covid-19?
According to the Ministry of Health of Ontario, you should opt to get a COVID‑19 test at an assessment centre or covid-19 screening lab if any of the following apply to you:
Covid Symptoms and exposure
· Currently feeling COVID-19 symptoms
· Have been exposed to a COVID-19 infected patient recently (Ince you confirm when you are are exposed to a Covid-19 positive person, get yourself tested around 5 days of your last exposure and self-isolate yourself. And if you are not sure that when you came into contact of a Covid-19 positive person, opt for Covid Test Niagara at a Covid testing lab right away.
· Received a notification of exposure on COVID Alert app of Canada
· A resident or worker in a zone or environment having a COVID-19 outbreak, as identified by your local Canadian public health unit
Long-term covid-19 care and other congregate settings
· A visitor or health of factory worker in a long-term care home
· A support worker in a retirement home
· A resident or factory or health worker in a homeless shelter or other congregate setting (for example, disability-specific communities or congregate settings, short-term rehab , group homes, community supported living, hospices and other shelters)
Surgery and other reasons for Covid test kit Brampton and Niagara
· Need a Covid Test Niagara, scheduled (non-urgent or emergent) medical surgery in a region with high community transmission of Covid-19(confirm with your healthcare provider)
· An international student coming to Canada for pursuing study and has completed their 14-day quarantine period
· You found a preliminary positive result for Covid-19 through the rapid antigen screening pilot in Canada
· In a targeted covid testing group as outlined in guidance from the Chief Medical Officer of Health in Canada
· After December 11, 2020, outbound international travel will need a paid Covid-19 tests in Canada. Covid test kit Brampton is available in Brampton and Niagara and also throughout Ontario.
After a Negative Covid Test Report
Follow the following if you:
· Had an exposure to COVID-19 in last 7 days: self-isolate for atleast 14 days from your last covid exposure, regardless of the result.
· Have travelled to other countries in the last 14 days: self‑isolate for 14 days once you return back to Canada from your international travel, regardless of result. Self isolation (quarantine) is mandatory under the federal Quarantine Act of Canada.
· Have not had a Covid-19 exposure and are sick: self-isolate yourself until you start feeling well.
· Has not had an Covid-19 exposure and you are healthy: continue physical distancing enenthough you are healthy. If you develop symptoms realted to Covid-19, you should self-isolate right away.

After a Positive Test Report of Covid-19
Your public health unit in your state or city of Canada will ask you about:
· SYMPTOMS
What covid-19 symptoms have you felt and experienced and what have been your covid-19 related symptoms over time?
Few examples of COVID-19 symptoms are fever (37.8 degrees C or greater), shortness or difficulty in breathing, sore throat, new or worsening cough, difficulty in swallowing, change or lost in taste or smell, nausea/ vomiting/ diarrhea/ abdominal pain, running nose or some nasal congestion.
· PLACES
Where places you have visited in the 14 days or we can say 2 weeks prior to when your covid-19 symptoms started or, if you don’t have any symptoms, where you have been through in last 2 weeks from the date of getting tested for Covid-19?
Make a list of places you have visited in last 2 weeks and also try to precisely include the date, time and address.
Examples: workplace, restaurants, friend/relative home, school/childcare/camp, places you may have stayed (rooming house, hotel etc.).
· CONTACTS
Who were with you or near you within less than 2 metres distance in last 48 hours before you generated covid 19 symptons or, in case of not having symptoms, in the 48 hours before getting tested Covid 19 test lab?
Practice Covid Contact Tracing: Identify where you have stayed or visited and who you were physically close to in last 48 hours can positively help to contain the spread of the covid virus in your community.
Create a detailed list of the names, phone numbers, and dates and times of your last and also most recent contact with anyone who:
· stays with you in your home
· works with you in the same office or workplace
· has been closer physically within the distance of 2 meters for longer than a brief time (i.e., had a chat).
Help Keep Everyone Safe from Covid Infectio
· If your covid test done at covid testing lab in Brampton, Niagara or any other city of Canada is positive, you can help the health authorities of Canada to contain the spread of this deadly virus by practicing Contact Tracing.
